Zoom Settings

Zoom is a popular video conferencing and communication tool that can be integrated with accounting software to enable remote meetings and communication with clients or team members

Use Case

Integrating Zoom with accounting software can help streamline workflows by allowing users to schedule and conduct remote meetings from within the software. This eliminates the need to switch between multiple applications and can save time. The integration is built on Zoom’s API, which allows for customization to meet specific needs.

Instructions

  1. Go to Settings>System>Zoom
  2. Navigate to the “Advanced” tab on the left-hand menu and click “API”.
  3. Ensure that the “Enable API” option is turned on.
  4. Generate an API key and secret by clicking the “Generate” button under the “API Keys” section.
  5. In the accounting software, navigate to the settings section and select the “Integrations” tab.
  6. Click “Add Integration” and select “Zoom” from the list of available integrations.
  7. Enter your Zoom API key and secret in the corresponding fields and any other required information, such as the API endpoint or authentication method.
  8. Save the settings, and test the integration to ensure everything works correctly.
